While suffering through a boring summer job at a museum, a young boy comes across an old hand-written novel whose young writer just rambles on and on about her travels and the things she's seen and done. At first the boy finds the writing a bit silly -- the girl just randomly makes up places that don't exist and describes totally impossible technology. And she can't even tell her story in even the most basic logical order. But his curiosity keeps him reading. Eventually, the boy learns that the girl was very concerned about the world's changing climate. But reading even further, the boy uncovers a more significant truth about this young novel writer. She was a time traveler and this was her diary.
A time-travel limited series.
